We’re serving up slow-smoked Texas-style brisket with a deep, savory bark, a gorgeous smoke ring, and juicy slices so tender they practically surrender to the fork. Low, slow, and loaded with enough smoky beef flavor to make barbecue sauce feel optional.

Labor Day needed better plans.
I decided Labor Day afternoon needs three things: really good food, really fun people, and somewhere comfortable to work off lunch. 😉
So for the holiday, I’m firing up a special edition of The Smoke Show, our gastro day play event at Summer’s Home for Wayward Swingers.
Every Smoke Show gets its own feast, and this one is pure Texas cookout: slow-smoked brisket, Southern sides, and something sweet waiting at the end.
Of course, around here lunch is really only the beginning.
