Memorial Day weekend always feels like the unofficial beginning of summer… longer nights, warmer skin, and the kind of energy that makes people linger a little closer than usual. For this edition of Bare Appétit, I wanted to lean into something playful and smoky with a little heat behind it. Tex-Mex felt perfect, but not the heavy, overstuffed version you’d expect. This menu is lighter, flirtier, and built to tease the palate instead of putting anyone into a food coma. Think citrus, spice, dark chocolate, fresh herbs, and just enough indulgence to set the mood before the night truly begins.

Why settle for a typical Memorial Day dinner when you can indulge in something a little hotter? Summer’s Heat Advisory brings the flavors of elevated Tex-Mex to Bare Appétit, with a four-course tasting menu prepared live by Mike and served by Summer… in lingerie! Light, flavorful, and designed to tease rather than overwhelm, each course layers citrus, spice, smoke, and sweetness into a dining experience that sets the tone for the night ahead.
The evening begins at 7:00 PM, with the first course served at 7:30 PM. After dessert, Summer’s Home for Wayward Swingers opens into an evening of on-premise play, with plenty of space to continue the fun.
As always, this event is BYOB and we’ll provide mixers to complement the menu. Come hungry, come curious, and prepare for a long weekend with a little extra heat.
Four Course Menu

Amuse-Bouche
Cucumber Aguachile Spoons: Poached shrimp, cucumber ribbon, lime-serrano aguachile, micro cilantro, and a delicate coral tuile garnish.

Appetizer
Watermelon & Heirloom Tomato Salad: Compressed watermelon, heirloom tomatoes, avocado, toasted pepitas, chili honey vinaigrette, and crumbled Cotija cheese.

Entrée
Steak Fajitas al Fuego: Marinated skirt steak, charred pepper silk, pickled onion ribbons, blue corn tortilla, and smoked chili accents.

Dessert
Dark Chocolate Chile Tart: Silky dark chocolate ganache tart with cinnamon cream, strawberry reduction, cocoa crumble, and sea salt.
